Off-roading with new rims

I love this thing. I was sure I would have gotten stuck in some of the holes I climbed in. This is the only pic I stopped to take.

I couldn't help it.

After I got the spare rim mounted I had to get the rest to match.

New bumper and tire carrier.

My sweet new bumper and tire carrier looks great. It even holds my High-lift jack. Now when I get a flat I dont have to limp home.

Cleaned up engine bay

I cleaned up the wires and adding a fuel pump. I noticed that I needed more power. Diesels never breathed very well so I decided to us an 86 GTI intake and a custom pipe to bolt on a 3" K&N. While 3" is a little excessive, breathing is no longer an issue.

WOW!!! what a difference.

Off-roading after the new springs.

I went off roading Saturday, had a blast, almost rolled it, popped a tire and drove home with three.

ZOR Beefy Bumper

I love this bumper, I got the class 3 receiver hitch for versatility. I cannot wait until I have enough to buy the rear bumper and tire carrier.

New springs and bumper

I upgraded to OME 2" lift springs. I got a great deal on a bumper from Zuksoffroad. I will post pics later.
